Ingredients

  • 10 Slices Brioche Bread, Challah Bread, or Texas Toast

  • 3 Large Eggs

  • 1 Cup Whole Milk

  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar

  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

  • 1 Cup Fresh Strawberries, sliced thin

  • Filling
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese

  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 1 / 3 Cup Powdered Sugar

  • Syrup
  • Maple Syrup

Directions

  • Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla until smooth
  • Spread a thick layer of cream cheese filling on one side of 5 slices of bread.
  • Press the other 5 slices of bread on top to form 5 sandwiches.
  • In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon together and whisk until blended
  • Dip the sandwiches in the egg mixture and soak on each side to coat completely
  • Melt butter on a griddle or skillet over medium heat
  • Cook sandwiches 4 -5 minutes or until golden brown on both sides
  • Top with strawberries, maple syrup and whipped cream
